MotSIG business meeting
The business meeting
and dinner will be on Tuesday evening. See program above for details. We hope to see you all at the annual SIG Business Meeting, following stimulating SIG Keynote by Prof Bernie Weiner. Refreshments will be provided, annual reports from SIG Chair, Program Chair, Treasurer, Graduate Student Committee, and other business as raised by members. As well, we have our annual student awards: the winner of the Paul R Pintrich Memorial Award will be announced and award presented, also the SIG travel awards. Then we hope all will continue to our dinner reception to continue interactions and conversations together.
Motivation SIG Dinner
For the 2013 SIG Motivation annual dinner, we have selected a restaurant that has ample space for our party as well as room for mingling prior to and during dinner. We hope you will give this new restaurant format a try - and join us!
WHEN: Tuesday, April 30th, 9:00 pm, after the Motivation SIG Business Meeting
WHERE: Blu Restaurant, 747 Market Street, on Market between 3th and 4th Street (a few blocks from the keynote & business meeting)

Lunch with a Motivation Researcher @AERA 2013
Several graduate student members of the SIG will be invited to have lunch in a small group setting with an accomplished motivation researcher during the 2013 program in San Francisco. Please refer to the message below from our SIG Graduate Committee: Kara Makara, Fani Lauermann and Megan Sanders: Graduate Student Database & Lunch with a Motivation Professor Event - The SIG Graduate Committee will be organizing various activities at AERA 2013 for the SIG graduate students. All graduate students (old and new), please respond to the following brief survey from the SIG Graduate Committee which will ask for your contact information in order to maintain their database of SIG graduate student members. The survey will also solicit your nominations of faculty for the "Lunch with a Professor" event. More information about the lunches and sign-ups will be sent closer to AERA. The survey should only take 2-4 minutes; please use the following link to respond: http://umichpsych.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_ePf3Pms5aL7shJX
